Building a website without traffic is like opening shop without customer, you will agree with me that customers are the beauty and success of every shop; but how do we attract customers to our old or new shop?

In this post today, i will be sharing with you some failure-proof way to build search engine friendly website.

There is no point in building a website unless there are visitors coming in. One major source of genuine traffic for most sites on the Internet is the search engine; there search engines like Google, Yahoo!, MSN, Altavista and so on. These search engines attracts millions of visitors on daily basics.

Hence, by designing a search engine friendly website, you will be able to rank easily in these search engines and enjoy the swarms of traffic that flocks them daily. Just read how to Use Google Adwords To Drive Laser Targeted Traffic

Major search engines use programs called crawlers or robots to index websites for the sole purpose of listing these websites on their search result pages. They follow links to a page, read the content of the page and record it in their own database, pulling up the listing as people daily search for it.

1). To have your Web pages indexed quickly, avoid using frames on your website. Frames will only confuse search engine robots making them abandon your website. Remember, these are robots not humans, they do not use discretion. Moreover, frames make it difficult for users to bookmark a specific page on your site without using long, complicated scripts and steps.

2). Do not present important information in Flash movies or in images. Search engine robots can only read text on your source code so if you present important words in Flash movies and images rather than textual form, your search engine ranking will be negatively affected dramatically.

3). Use meta tags accordingly on each and every page of your site so that search engine robots know at first glance what that particular page is talking about and whether or not to index it. By using meta tags, you are making the search engine robot’s job easier so they will crawl and index your site accordingly and more frequently.

4). Stop using wrong HTML tags like to style your page. Instead, use CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) because they are more effective and efficient. By using CSS, you can eliminate redundant HTML tags and make your pages much lighter and load faster than ever.

Remember, search engines love website that loads very fast.
