Efogator: Please tell us your name
Sylviane: My name is Sylviane Nuccio. No middle name, but frankly with a name like that I don’t need one, right?

Efogator: Tell us where you are from and a little about yourself
Sylviane: I’m originally from France, but I’ve lived in the US for over 20 years. Right now I’m in Europe though. Scotland, Ireland, England, Spain and France. In that order. I’ll be in Europe until at least June 2016.

Efogator: Tell us about your blog
Sylviane: I use my blog sylvianenuccio.com to promote my businesses. I am a freelance writer and a life coach. I blog mostly for my target market.

Efogator: What is your purpose of blogging?
Sylviane: Show my abilities at what I do. Help others with my tips, and even establish relationships with other bloggers, but at times I feel that’s a one way street more often than not. Bloggers comment on your blog only if you comment on theirs, and some don’t even comment on your EVEN if you comment on theirs.

Efogator: What were the challenges you faced at the beginning of your blogging career?
Sylviane: Basically the same that I do struggle with today. What I mean is that blogging is not an end, it’s an eternal beginning. The challenges will always be here I guess.

Efogator: How long have you been blogging?
Sylviane: I’ve been blogging seriously since 2008, but my very first blog which was a Blogger blog was back in 2006.

Efogator: What is your main source of traffic generation?
Sylviane: Google search engine, and social media.

My blog itself doesn’t generate money, but my businesses are doing better and better because of my blog.

Efogator: Who are the 4 bloggers that has inspired you so much?
Sylviane: I tend to get more inspired by personalities more than by a blogger as a blogger. So even if you’re the best blogger and your personality sucks, you won’t inspire me at all. Many people have inspired me over the years, it would be too hard for me to give you 4 names.

Efogator: In this age of high competition in blogging, what do you do to stand out?
Sylviane: I’m not trying to stand out as a blogger, I’m trying to stand out at what I do. I’m not in competition with anyone. I’m in completion with myself. I feel that I’m a good writer and a darn good coach (smile), but try to get better every day. No other competition for me.

Efogator: How do you handle the SEO of your blog?
Sylviane: Very lightly. Not something I lose sleep over. I do enough to get the job done.

Efogator: What are the 5 things you do not do as a blogger to keep you on the success path?
Sylviane: Can’t think of any, but the fact that I’m still not enough present on social media I guess could be one I could improve.

Efogator: Which of the blogging platform do you prefer and why?
Sylviane: WordPress. Never used another one since Blogger.

Efogator: In your opinion, why do so many bloggers fail and only few succeed?
Sylviane: Because blogging is not a hobby. It requires constant effort and work.

Efogator: What is your next plan for your blogging career?
Sylviane: I’m already working on my next plan. Speaking more to my target market.

Efogator: In your opinion, is blogging a full time business?
Sylviane: It definitely is, as I just mentioned above.
