An Open Discussion with the Founder of SEOTechyWorld: Nisha Pandey

In this chat/interview with Efogator, Nisha Pandey reveals some very vital bloggingv tips that that I considered good enough for my audience. She is fondly called “My twin sister” in the blogosphere, you want to know why?

1. Please tell us your name
Nisha: Hi, my name is Nisha Pandey.

2. Tell us where you are from and a little about yourself
Nisha: I am from Delhi, India and I am an avid blogger on SEO, online marketing, and the latest technology in the digital world! I think technology and the Internet are my elements!

I first came across the SEO industry when I joined an SEO Trainee course on the recommendation of a friend. After completing the course I landed a lucrative job in the industry and learned a lot! I took leave from profession after marriage, but made a comeback as a blogger during the days I was on maternity leave!

3. Tell us about your blog
Nisha: As I have already mentioned, Internet and technology are my elements. So I am naturally attracted to all the action taking place around the web – from online marketing to the world of computers to the launch of the latest smart phones and software updates! This combined with my love for anything that’s new and thrilling is what resulted in my blog

As the name suggests, my blog is not just about SEO and online marketing, it is also about the latest technology updates. You can also find info about the latest and unique smart phones, tabs, and apps from the world of iOS, Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry.

My blog is designed, not only for the tech-savvy, but also for the commoners!

4. What were the challenges you faced at the beginning of your blogging career?
Nisha: Any new blogger is going to face challenges in this increasingly competitive world of blogging! My challenges compounded further in the beginning because I started at a time when I was a new mother.

But I was up to the challenge and spent more of my time reading and learning from the pro bloggers! As a new mom, time was a hard commodity to come by! Despite infrequent posts initially, I caught up gradually!

5. How long have you been blogging?
Nisha: I have been blogging for over 2 years now. It all started in the summer of 2013 when I launched!

6. What is your main source of traffic generation?
Nisha: I use SocialPilot and Buffer for social media sharing and promotion. At times I also use BuzzSumo which helps me in finding the most shared content which I could link to. Google AdWords and Analytics are my mainstay in terms of finding the best keywords and keeping track of my traffic and stats.

Overall, I don’t do much promotion myself. My traffic generating strategy is to create SEO optimized and informative blogs and build relationships with my readers and other bloggers. I can tell you that this is a powerful strategy when done the right way!

7. If your blog generates income, what is your main source of income in your blog?
Nisha: Yes my blogs do generate income, and sponsored reviews for technological solutions work as the main source of earnings for me. I supplement other monetization strategies with my SEO and writing services.

8. Who are the 4 bloggers that has inspired you so much?
Nisha: This is very difficult to answer! There are so many wonderful and innovative bloggers out there and no one can put a hierarchy out there that someone is No.1 and someone is No.2. Everyone is creative in their own way and you can never rank creativity and innovation!

But if I must mention some of the bloggers who have been an inspiration to me, I would like to mention Harleena Ma’am from, Harsh Agarwal from, Neil Patel from, Carol Amato from, and Adrienne Smith from to name a few. I see them as highly creative, effective and big motivators!

9. In this age of high competition in blogging, what do you do to stand out?
Nisha: Like any other industry when competition increases your success eventually comes down to your creativity! This is so true for the blogging industry. Over the years I have learnt a lot and have developed proven strategies that help me maintain my edge.

I would like to share some of these time-tested strategies with you and your readers:

Nisha: It is mostly about conducting keyword research, creating quality content and using those keywords sparingly and in the right places. I don’t use anything else for optimizing my blogs. It is all about keeping it simple and delivering value!

11. What are the things you do not do as a blogger to keep you on the success path?
Nisha: I would suggest things based on my experience as what I have seen as fructifying or not:
Don’t use extravagant language or language full of complex jargon. These are big turnoffs.
Don’t over optimize! Blogging is beyond keyword stuffing. Be organic!
Don’t get discouraged fast! It will take time and lots of hard work to build a well networked blog with lots of traffic. It is not an overnight route to success!

13. In your opinion, why do so many bloggers fail and only few succeed?
Nisha: As I may have hinted many times above, successful blogging is more about creativity, consistency and hard work. While it is essential to be consistent with your posts, you have to innovate about what you are going to deliver. At the same time deliver only what your readers are seeking!

14. What is your next plan for your blogging career?
Nisha: I have recently launched a couple of new blogs – and So most of my focus in the near future will be to develop them.

15. In your opinion, is blogging a full time business?
Nisha: I know where you are coming from. There are two main phases in blogging. The initial phase (ground base) is where things can be difficult. Once you are beyond that and enter the second phase, blogging can sustain you. But you have to work hard and smart to reach that second phase!

16. What advice do you have for newbie bloggers?
Nisha: It is most important to research, study and understand your readers and what they are seeking and then create content that caters to their requirements.

Make sure to remain updated with your niche and what is new in the blogging world! SEO is important but keep the keyword usage to a limit, and most importantly – embrace creativity and consistency to succeed!
